Summary

Job Description

Required Qualifications
Direct, hands-on experience engineering, testing, or verifying Level 4 (L4) Autonomous Vehicles.
Deep domain expertise in L4 autonomous vehicle behavior, including vehicle kinematics, traffic laws, and ODD boundary edge-cases.
Extensive experience with systems architecture, simulation tools, and parametric design applied to dynamic 3D environments used in AV development.
Familiarity with visual node-based logic (e.g., Unreal Engine Blueprints, Unity) or complex configuration languages like JSON and XML.
Demonstrated ability to perform "black-box" troubleshooting by parsing L4 system logs and isolating variables without direct access to source code.
Exceptional technical communication skills to translate complex anomalies into data-driven bug reports for upstream software engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities

Design and document a unified workflow architecture that maps how the operation will take L4 AV behavioral requirements as inputs, specify scenario tests, fulfill creation/maintenance needs, and perform diagnostic analysis.
Formulate comprehensive testing strategies for complex L4 autonomous driving behaviors, including collision avoidance, fault response, and regulatory compliance across diverse ODDs.
Lead the technical response for the "Demonstrative Bid Exercises," specifically decomposing hypothetical L4 requirements into Verification Items (VERs) and parameterized Test Requests (TRs).
Define the specific screening and recruitment methodologies required to identify technical talent with the abstract critical thinking, spatial logic, and deductive troubleshooting skills necessary for L4 simulation testing.
Develop robust technical training frameworks to transition operators from baseline proficiency to expert status in L4 testing methodologies.
