Summary

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer

This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of WordPress experience who enjoys building user-friendly websites, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with designers and content teams.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
Customize WordPress themes and work with common plugins
Build and update web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
Publish and manage website content, layouts, and media
Troubleshoot website issues and resolve bugs
Assist with implementing new website features and enhancements
Ensure websites are responsive across desktop and mobile devices
Support website performance, security updates, and ongoing maintenance
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver high-quality web experiences
Follow coding standards and use version control to manage changes

Requirements:

1–3 years of experience working with WordPress

Required Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Working knowledge of PHP
Experience customizing WordPress themes and using popular plugins
Familiarity with responsive web design principles
Experience using Git or another version control system
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, or other WordPress page builders
Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
Basic understanding of SEO best practices
Experience with WooCommerce is a plus
