Overview
This role supports FP&A and finance teams by owning support and optimization for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting platforms including TPG, Workiva, Optifunder, and related tools. The focus is accuracy, speed, and repeatability - ensuring planning models, reports, and disclosures remain reliable under deadline pressure.
Responsibilities & Duties
Provide production support for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes in FIS and related tools (OptiFunder & Workiva).
• Maintain and enhance planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, and scenario and version controls to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Support Workiva reporting and disclosure workflows (data imports, linking, governance, and versioning) to enable accurate period-end reporting.
• Own report package refreshes and executive and board deliverables; troubleshoot calculation and report output issues under tight timelines.
• Reconcile planning and reporting outputs to source systems; investigate variances and implement preventative controls to reduce manual workarounds.
• Manage enhancements end-to-end: requirements, prioritization, UAT, release notes, training, and adoption.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT to improve governance, documentation, and repeatability of planning and reporting cycles.
Required Experience, Skills, & Competencies
5+ years in FP&A systems, CPM support, financial reporting systems, or finance transformation.
• Hands-on experience with FIS.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to interpret models, assumptions, and variance drivers.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles and executive reporting in an audit aware environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to turn ambiguous requests into clear, testable requirements.
• Experience with workflow, documentation, and change management tooling (Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus)
Experience with disclosure controls, auditability, and governance for internal or external reporting.
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts (entity, account, scenario, version) and data integration patterns.
• Experience standardizing report packages and automating manual reporting steps.
