AEM Lead

Role Summary

Hands-on Senior AEM Technical Lead to lead the design and development of a modern public-facing website using Adobe Experience Manager. The candidate should have strong AEM technical expertise, architecture experience, and excellent communication skills to work directly with digital marketing, UX, content, analytics, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development using AEM Sites / AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Design and develop reusable AEM components, templates, Content Fragments and Experience Fragments.

• Work with AEM Core Components and develop custom components where required.

• Provide guidance on traditional, headless, SPA and hybrid AEM architectures.

• Define content authoring workflows, approval processes, roles and permissions.

• Support AEM Assets/DAM integration, asset optimization and content lifecycle management.

• Design and optimize Dispatcher/CDN caching and application performance.

• Support Adobe Cloud Manager CI/CD pipelines, deployments and environment strategy.

• Collaborate with Analytics teams to enable data layer, Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics and tagging requirements.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership, code reviews, troubleshooting and mentoring.

• Work directly with customer stakeholders to translate business and UX requirements into scalable AEM solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of strong hands-on AEM experience, preferably AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Strong experience with AEM Sites, Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL and Sling Models.

• Experience building custom components, templates, workflows and integrations.

• Strong understanding of AEM Dispatcher, CDN, caching and performance optimization.

• Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager and CI/CD.

• Good understanding of headless and traditional CMS architectures.

• Strong customer-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
