Data Center Technician

Position Details:

Payrate    $30- $35/hour on W2 (All Inclusive) for 3-5 years of experience

$40- $42.00/hr for Supervising/ Lead Technician 5+years experience

Location: Abilene, TX (Onsite)
Contract: 3+ months Contract with possible extension       
 
Job Description
As an Infrastructure/ Data Center Technician, you are the technical expert and frontline leader who ensures that the data, voice, fiber, and low voltage systems powering world-class environments are installed with precision, quality, and unmatched professionalism. This is a senior level, hands-on role where your expertise in structured cabling, fiber optics, and ICT systems sets the standard for the entire team.

Position Details
•    3–5 years of telecom/structured cabling experience (data center experience a strong plus).
•    Install, test, service, and decommission structured cabling systems including fiber optics, copper, communications, and other low voltage systems.
•    Build and remove cabinets, racks, cable trays, pathways, and related data center infrastructure.
•    Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
•    OSHA10 preferred (must obtain within 90 days).
•    First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days.
•    FOA certifications, BICSI cabling certifications, or similar credentials preferred
