Position: Project Manager (CLM)
Work Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
The Project Manager, CLM implementation runs the day-to-day delivery of client's new contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, from kickoff through go-live and handoff to ongoing operations. Working alongside the CLM Product Manager within the Vendor Management Office, this role owns the project plan, schedule, budget tracking, risks and vendor deliverables, so the Product Manager can focus on requirements, design and platform administration. The role coordinates teams across Legal, Procurement, Third-Party Risk, Information Security, Finance and IT to keep the rollout and the move of contracts from both legacy organizations on time, within budget and audit ready.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and owns the integrated project plan for the CLM implementation, covering scope, milestones, dependencies, resources and the go-live date, in partnership with the CLM Product Manager.
- Runs the project rhythm, including working sessions, weekly status meetings, steering committee updates and a clear decision log.
- Tracks the software vendor's and any implementation partner's deliverables against the statement of work, and flags slippage, scope changes and change requests early.
- Tracks projects’ spend against the approved budget, including vendor invoices and change orders, and reports variances to VMO leadership.
- Maintains the project's risks, issues, actions and decisions log, drives owners to close items on time, and escalates when needed.
- Coordinates contributors across Vendor Management, Legal, Procurement, Third-Party Risk, Information Security, Finance, IT and business units, including scheduling design workshops and securing time from subject matter experts.
- Manages the contract migration workplan for both legacy organizations: inventories source repositories, schedules migration batches, assigns cleanup and review work, and reports progress and quality results.
