Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead the technology strategy and operations for our client in Greenville, South Carolina. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can align IT initiatives with business goals, ensuring efficient systems, robust cybersecurity, and seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation and optimize processes.
Responsibilities:
Define and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and future growth.
Provide expert guidance to executive leadership on technology investments, risks, and opportunities.
Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering growth and a high-performance culture.
Manage enterprise systems, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user computing to ensure reliability and scalability.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols, data privacy measures, and compliance standards.
Identify and mitigate technology risks while overseeing audits and incident response processes.
Collaborate with business leaders to enhance workflows and optimize core business applications.
Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and partnerships to ensure cost-effective technology solutions.
Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives to maximize efficiency.
Establish governance frameworks, policies, and performance metrics to monitor IT operations effectively
Requirements
Proven experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within manufacturing or similar industries.
Expertise in managing enterprise applications, networks, and cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise and other business intelligence tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to drive innovation and modernization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
Experience with IT budgeting, vendor management, and cost optimization.
