Job Description:
Seeking a Jr. Test Engineer with hands-on experience in consumer electronics testing and image quality validation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of imaging systems, image/video testing, data analysis, and test execution.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain test environments for consumer electronics devices.
• Test and measure image and video quality in laboratory environments.
• Work with camera sensors, optics, image signal processors (ISP), and computational photography.
• Analyze image quality parameters including sharpness, HDR, color accuracy, tone mapping, and noise reduction.
• Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Perform test execution, bug triaging, and defect reporting.
• Support image quality testing using tools such as DxOMark.
Required Skills:
• 1–5 years of experience in testing or validation.
• Consumer electronics testing experience.
• Understanding of imaging systems and image/video quality.
• Experience with image quality testing and analysis.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test cases, and defect tracking.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows.
• Strong data collection and analysis skills.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with DxOMark or similar image quality testing tools.
• Python or scripting experience.
• Knowledge of computational photography.
