Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is focused on driving Agile delivery execution for platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, manage the product backlog in Jira, and remove impediments to ensure the successful delivery of objectives. This position involves close collaboration with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Project Managers to promote continuous improvement and optimize the flow of work.
Responsibilities: - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Ensure proper structuring and lifecycle progression of deliverables, epics, and stories
- Drive adherence to Agile delivery standards across engineering teams
- Partner with engineering leads to define and maintain deliverables, epics, and stories in Jira
- Maintain backlog hygiene and alignment with quarterly and annual objectives
- Identify, escalate, and remove blockers impacting delivery
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies with security, infrastructure, and operations
- Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Project Managers
- Provide transparency into sprint progress, risks, and delivery timelines
- Ensure consistency of communication across multiple stakeholders
- Promote Agile best practices and coaching across teams
- Improve delivery predictability, velocity, and team maturity
- Identify gaps in processes and implement improvements
- Optimize the flow of work and value delivery
- Support multiple scrum teams if required
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles (Scrum Master or similar)
- Experience supporting infrastructure or engineering teams (preferably Active Directory, Identity, or platform engineering)
- Strong working knowledge of Jira for structuring deliverables, epics, and stories
- Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage dependencies and remove impediments
- Proven ability to drive process consistency across teams
Desired skills: - Experience in Active Directory, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or infrastructure engineering environments
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformations
- Familiarity with governance or validation frameworks
