Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud security architecture, compliance, and automation across public and private cloud platforms and a proven ability to design and implement secure cloud solutions that meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide security expertise across systems, networks, encryption, authentication, and governance.


• Work with third-party vendors to validate and enforce security requirements.


• Collaborate with IT and development teams to securely integrate cloud solutions with existing software and infrastructure.


• Engage senior technical leaders to design and implement cloud-based solutions.


• Drive security standards and tooling strategies for public and private cloud environments.


• Conduct technology assessments to establish and validate enterprise security baselines and define technical direction.


• Set technical standards for cloud infrastructure, containers, security baselines, policies, and procedures.


• Analyze security configurations and produce vulnerability reports.


• Establish best practices and migration strategies; partner with engineers to build compliant environments.


• Serve as primary interface to governance, compliance, and risk teams to maintain certification and accreditation requirements.


• Facilitate security automation using cloud provider APIs, SDKs, and custom code.


• Use standard security frameworks to perform gap analyses across cloud providers, cloud types, and certification levels.


• Write, maintain, and enhance automation scripts and monitoring tools.


• Research and propose automated system and code analysis solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• 5+ years of experience deploying and automating security solutions in large enterprises for cloud platforms such as AWS.


• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role.


• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges across public, private, and hybrid models.


• Proficiency with cloud security tools and solutions, including IAM, security groups, and related controls.


• Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security event analysis.


• Familiarity with web technologies and architectures, including web applications, web services, and SOA, and related network protocols.


• Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.


• Database programming and administration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.


• Experience in financial cybersecurity domains.
