Join our Team as a DMS INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER!

The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated DMS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers the Dealer Management System (DMS) and supports the dealer network. You'll ensure the availability, security, reliability, and performance of servers, networks, cloud services, and dealer-facing applications, while troubleshooting issues, supporting system integrations, and driving continuous improvements. Working closely with IT teams, vendors, and dealerships, you'll deliver scalable infrastructure solutions, monitor system health, resolve incidents, and help deploy new technologies that enhance the dealer experience and support business growth. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead enterprise base work initiatives and projects.
  • Develop enhanced production monitoring and additional capability.
  • Define improvement increased system reliability and performance.
  • Support multiple systems or applications of medium to highly complex (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Determine the required course of action to improve performance and escalates when appropriate.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management, application deployments, and hot fixes.
  • Develop plans to manage the frequency of appropriate support package/patch application.
  • Forecast utilization patterns and identifies modifications or upgrades.
  • Recommend changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Coordinate problem resolution among a variety of functional areas and provides subject matter expertise support for diagnosing and resolving problems.
  • Ensure IT system security baselines are met, and security improvements are implemented across the server environments.
  • Recommend settings changes to the operating system to improve performance and reliability.
  • Develop, maintain, recommend, document, and support tools and back-end utilities to provide capacity planning management.
  • Monitor database performance and recommend changes.
  • Recommend updates to operating systems to deliver cost benefits without reducing production performance and availability.
  • Actively monitor and publish the availability plan discussing the ability of the IT infrastructure to meet the availability requirements of the business.
  • Work across teams to ensure network/telecom system upgrades and service pack deployments are implemented with minimal impact to production operation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain approved telecom/network hardware and software components.
  • Maintain structured cabling systems, telecom systems, WAN, LAN, Cellular/DAS, Wireless Networks and local Internet, remote access, VPNs, and connectivity protocols.
  • Analyze and implement network software or hardware changes.
  • Establish WAN, LAN, Wireless device profiles, device environments, directories, and security for networks being installed.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-10 years of relevant information technology experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of server and network infrastructure support
  • Expert knowledge of Windows server
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services
  • Advanced knowledge in storage technologies, SAN, DAS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel
  • Advanced knowledge VMware vSphere, Server Virtualization and VM Management
  • Advanced knowledge of Veeam Backup and Recovery
  • Advanced knowledge in firewalls, IPS, and other security solutions
  • ITIL Foundations Certification or ITSM/ITIL experience

Salary - $83,340 - $135,975 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
