Location: Primarily Remote (Occasional travel 1-2 days per month for major team meetings at Warrenville, IL)

Overview:

Work with a leading firm in the nuclear and power industry to support their "RISE" program. This initiative is focused on reinventing the company''s supply chain organization. As a Technical Writer 2, you will play a critical role in the Policies and Procedures workstream, turning raw technical concepts into the formal documentation that will guide the future of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with procurement engineers and supply chain leads to gather feedback and technical inputs.
Transform high-level bulleted drafts into professional, free-flowing policy and procedure documents.
Draft and refine 5-10 page documents covering areas such as category management, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
Work cross-functionally across the supply chain organization to ensure policy accuracy and clarity.

Required Qualifications:

2 to 4 years of experience in technical writing (open to more senior candidates within budget).
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Proven ability to translate technical jargon and bulleted lists into cohesive, structured prose.
Ability to provide professional writing samples for review.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in writing Supply Chain policies and procedures.
Experience in the Energy or Utility sector, specifically Nuclear Power.
Knowledge of strategic sourcing, ethical sourcing, or warehouse management concepts.
