Job Details

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join a finance-focused practice with an emphasis on private credit and lending transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex financing matters, representing lenders and other market participants in sophisticated deal work.

Responsibilities

Advise on a variety of private credit and finance transactions
Represent lenders and other parties in structuring and negotiating financing arrangements
Work on transactions including cash flow deals, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations
Assist with drafting and negotiating loan agreements and related financing documents
Collaborate with team members on deal execution and transaction management
Support matters involving asset-based financings, restructurings, and workouts as needed

Qualifications

3-6 years of experience in private credit, finance, or related transactional work
Strong background in lending transactions, with borrower-side exposure a plus
Experience with a range of financing structures and deal types
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Prior experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment
Strong academic credentials
Demonstrated ability to handle transactional work and collaborate effectively
Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Admission to a the state bar where you will be practicing
