Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated
Junior Mechanical Engineer to work
on-site with our client, a top-tier electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits
Responsibilities: Supporting the design, integration, and deployment of robotic test automation systems.
- Design and modify mechanical components and automation systems using 3D CAD.
- Create drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Support prototype fabrication, system builds, assembly, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with design reviews, tolerance analysis, component selection, and verification.
- Work with technicians, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Identify improvements in cost, reliability, manufacturability, safety, and maintainability.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
- 0-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with 3D CAD through school, internships, projects, or professional work.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and drawings.
- Basic understanding of mechatronic systems, including electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Hands-on aptitude and willingness to participate in equipment builds and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
Preferred: - Siemens NX and/or Teamcenter experience.
- Robotics, automation, electromechanical, or machine-design experience.
- Experience with BOMs, production drawings, FEA, prototyping, machining, or 3D printing.
- Internship, co-op, capstone, Formula SAE, robotics club, or similar hands-on experience.
