Thinking Minds' client is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and operate agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) services. This role is crucial for automating multi-step business workflows safely and reliably. The engineer will collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver deployable, observable AI systems with measurable quality and strong guardrails.

Ideal Candidate Should Have

Advanced Python for backend/AI service development

Experience with Angular/Node (TypeScript) for full-stack delivery

Practical experience with at least one agent framework

Solid understanding of RAG

Familiarity with CI/CD and standard operational practices

Role Overview

The AI Engineer will be responsible for taking both agentic applications and RAG systems to production. The role involves building and shipping production services and APIs on AWS, focusing on reliability, latency, and cost. The engineer will ensure full-stack delivery using Angular and Node/TypeScript to expose AI capabilities to users, while maintaining strong operational practices.
