Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities: - Manage, track, and drive remediation of End of Life (EOL) and Non Permitted Technology (NPT) across the Credit CIO portfolio
- Ensure that all technology assets remain in compliance with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations, and operational risk controls
- Maintain accurate records in NPT Central (the system of record), monitor lifecycle milestones, and work closely with engineering, architecture, delivery, and CIO partners to remediate non compliant technology
- Critical to reduce technology risk and maintain stability and security across the portfolio
- Track, manage, and remediate End of Life, End of Support, and Non Permitted Technology components across the Credit portfolio
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in the NPT Central system of record, including lifecycle milestones, ownership, remediation plans, and risk exceptions
- Conduct recurring reviews of asset inventory, versioning, and lifecycle timelines to identify upcoming EOL risks
- Produce standardized reporting for CIO leadership, Delivery, Risk, and Governance teams showing status, progress, gaps, and risk exposure
- Prepare executive friendly dashboards summarizing aging, remediation progress, and priority items
- Ensure adherence to enterprise technology standards, architecture patterns, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits, control testing, and evidence collection related to lifecycle management
- Partner with Delivery Managers, Engineering Teams, Platform Owners, Architecture, and Risk to drive closure of EOL/NPT items
- Coordinate remediation plans, timelines, and resource needs across matrixed teams
- Escalate risk items or delays to the appropriate governance or CIO channels
- Perform data analysis to identify root causes, trends, recurring gaps, or systemic issues
- Validate inventory accuracy by reconciling data across multiple systems (CMDB, NPT Central, scanning tools, engineering platforms)
- Assist with forecasting future EOL waves and developing long term lifecycle strategies
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and lifecycle process materials
- Facilitate EOL/NPT meetings, forums, and working sessions to monitor progress and resolve blockers
- Ensure process compliance with technology risk frameworks, lifecycle policies, and change management practices
Requirements: - 3-7 years of experience in Technology, Infrastructure, IT Risk, or Technology Governance roles
- Strong understanding of technology lifecycle management, infrastructure components (servers, storage, OS, middleware, databases), and application dependencies
- Experience managing and updating data in technology inventory or risk tracking systems (CMDB, NPT Central, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Strong data analysis capabilities with the ability to build clear reporting and insights (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Jira, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across matrixed engineering, delivery, architecture, and CIO teams
- Ability to manage multiple remediation tracks simultaneously and drive accountability to meet deadlines
- Agile tools (Jira)
Desired skills: - Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated technology environments
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (Windows/Linux OS, middleware, databases, cloud platforms)
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, risk controls, and audit processes
- Experience with NPT Central, CMDB, lifecycle tracking tools, or ServiceNow
- Process or project management experience (PMP, ITIL, Agile exposure)
Pay Range: $52.54-$60.54
