Cyber Defense Analyst (CDA) needed for Raytheon Technologies - 100% Remote

Cyber Defense Analyst (CDA)
Client: Raytheon Technologies
100% Remote

Pay Rate: $45 per hour (W2 non-benefitted contract)

Work with the strategic, operational, and technical portions of the following capabilities as they are delivered to either Raytheon or Corporate:

  • Cyber Threat Operations
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence
  • Cyber Assurance & Analytics
  • Cyber Insider Threat
  • Cyber Support Operations
  • Cyber Detection & Response

Support will include the following deliverables: reporting, requests for information, requirements gathering, incident response support, vulnerability coordination and facilitation for remediation, advanced threat response remediation and special projects as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft communications to organizations on behalf of the respective CDL / CDA team
  • Conduct research to assist Cyber Defense Analysts in facilitating technical solutions
  • Utilize current technical knowledge to assist Cyber Defense Analysts with facilitating solutions or managing incidents related to threat exposure reduction and critical infrastructure protection
  • Act as a liaison between Cyber Defense operations and respective BUs on a variety of mission-critical activities
  • Work to improve communication, enhance overall cybersecurity posture, and work as a facilitator toward reduction of risk
  • Work with Cyber Defense Analysts to address, communicate, and resolve complex challenges affecting multiple sites, geographies, and products within Raytheon or Corporate Business Units arising from cybersecurity risks and incidents
  • Assist in the remediation analysis of applications and systems for vulnerabilities and risk
  • Participate in cross-functional BU, RTX Technology and Security teams in resolution of crisis management events and risk mitigation activities
  • Document and support process improvement initiatives to increase integration between respective BUs, Cyber Defense, and Cybersecurity teams

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated and proven knowledge in cybersecurity and current industry tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have initiative, be self-motivated; must be proactive and a self-starter
  • Must be able to work within a customer-facing role and be collaborative with multiple teams
  • Knowledge in cybersecurity, risk assessment, technical assessment, compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC), CISA-KEV
  • Experience in incident response and vulnerability management
