Title : AWS Cloud Administrator
Location : San Antonio, TX
Rate : $49/hr on W2

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Administrator with strong experience in managing and optimizing cloud-based databases, including RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of database systems in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Administer and maintain AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB instances
· Perform database performance tuning and optimization
· Manage backup, recovery, and data import/export processes
· Create and manage IAM roles and policies for secure access control
· Utilize AWS Management Console for provisioning and managing resources
· Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
· Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, ELK, and Datadog
Required Skills:
· Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
· Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash)
· Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and Datadog
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab
· Strong understanding of database performance tuning and cloud best practices
Preferred:
· Experience in DevOps practices and automation
· Knowledge of security and compliance in AWS environments
