About the Role

A leading Fortune 500 organization is seeking a Director – Solution Architect (Revenue Management) to join its Enterprise Architecture team.

This is a strategic architecture leadership position responsible for defining enterprise technology solutions supporting large-scale modernization initiatives. The architect will partner with Product, Business, Engineering, and Enterprise Technology teams to design scalable, cloud-native solutions focused on Revenue Management platforms and enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives, designing highly scalable distributed systems, and driving cloud transformation across complex organizations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design enterprise-scale, resilient, high-performance technology solutions.
  • Define target-state architecture for modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Translate business capabilities into scalable technical architecture.
  • Lead architecture initiatives supporting Revenue Management and enterprise applications.
  • Design solution, integration, deployment, and data architectures.
  • Produce architecture artifacts including conceptual diagrams, logical models, domain models, technology roadmaps, and solution documentation.
  • Architect cloud-native platforms emphasizing scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
  • Define enterprise API strategies, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.
  • Design event-driven systems utilizing messaging and streaming technologies.
  • Establish enterprise architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Evaluate modernization opportunities, cloud migration strategies, and technology roadmaps.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering teams, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide architectural leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to engineering organizations.
  • Support platform health reviews, scalability planning, and long-term technology strategy.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering and enterprise solution architecture experience.
  • 3+ years designing target-state architecture for enterprise digital transformation programs.
  • Experience architecting applications supporting high-volume enterprise data processing.
  • Strong background creating enterprise architecture documentation and design artifacts.
  • Experience designing cloud deployment architectures focused on scalability, resiliency, availability, and performance.
  • Strong understanding of defining and implementing Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
