Role Overview:

Looking for a seasoned QA Lead with strong automation expertise in Playwright and WebdriverIO to drive end-to-end testing strategy across onshore/offshore teams. The role requires hands-on leadership, framework design, and close collaboration with development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts for web applications with focus on automation and quality engineering
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and WebdriverIO
• Manage and coordinate onshore/offshore QA teams
• Define test strategies, plans, and execution for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce best practices

Required Skills:

• 10+ years in QA with strong automation background
• Hands-on expertise in Playwright and WebdriverIO
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience leading distributed teams

Preferred:

• Prior experience in large-scale enterprise or telecom/cable environments
• Candidates with previous experience in similar environments strongly preferred
