Job Overview

Our client, a leading healthcare technology organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle SOA Developer to join its Delivery Services team. This role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining complex interfaces for a cloud-based Medicaid platform. It is a hybrid development and operations support role requiring strong technical expertise, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test complex system interfaces using Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c on Unix/Linux platforms
  • Develop business processes using Oracle BPEL composites and JDeveloper
  • Implement and route SOAP and REST web services using Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
  • Develop SQL queries and troubleshoot PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
  • Develop Java and shell-based solutions to enhance existing interface frameworks
  • Provide operational support by investigating interface failures and resolving incidents
  • Participate in on-call support to meet project milestones and SLAs
  • Participate in JAD sessions for requirements gathering
  • Track incidents and enhancements using Jira; maintain documentation in SharePoint and Confluence

Required Skills

  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c, BPEL, JDeveloper
  • Oracle Service Bus (OSB), SOAP/REST web services, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, XQuery, SOAP UI
  • Java, Spring Framework integration within SOA
  • JMS, DB, FILE, and FTP adapters
  • Oracle PL/SQL and relational database experience
  • Shell scripting, FTP/SFTP protocols
  • CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Hudson, SVN, Git
  • AWS cloud services including EC2 and Load Balancers
  • WebLogic administration and optimization

Preferred Skills

  • Healthcare technology experience
  • Familiarity with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), provider and claims systems
