Summary

Job Title: Network Security Architect (AWS) Job ID: 26-00576 Location: Remote Duration: 12 months on W2 contract

We are seeking a Network Security Architect to support application and workload migration to the AWS public cloud, ensuring secure and compliant network architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather application connectivity and security requirements
Design and implement AWS network security architecture
Develop firewall rules and network security policies
Work with application, infrastructure, and perimeter defense teams
Document cloud network security standards and best practices
Support troubleshooting and optimization of security configurations

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of network security architecture/engineering experience
Strong AWS public cloud networking experience
Expertise with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), Security Groups, VPN, and VPC networking
Background in infrastructure architecture and information security
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

AWS certifications
Experience in regulated environments

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $95.00 - $100.00 per hour.
