Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP GRC Lead Consultant to work as an independent contributor, responsible for end-to-end ownership of SAP GRC Access Control. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in governance, risk, and compliance, along with proven experience in upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
SAP GRC Access Control
- Own and manage SAP GRC Access Control (AC) modules:
- Access Risk Analysis (ARA)
- Access Request Management (ARM)
- Emergency Access Management (EAM)
- Business Role Management (BRM)
- Design and enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and mitigation controls
- Perform risk analysis and remediation activities
- Oversee role design and access provisioning across:
- SAP ECC
- S/4HANA
- SAP BW
- SAP Fiori
- Manage Firefighter access, monitoring, and compliance reporting
- Drive periodic user access reviews and certifications
- Lead and support SAP GRC upgrade activities
Audit & Compliance
- Lead SOX compliance and audit support (internal and external)
- Respond to audit findings and define corrective action plans
- Ensure closure of audit observations within timelines
- Maintain documentation, control evidence, and compliance reports
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and corporate security standards
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Participate in client discussions and governance meetings
- Collaborate with Audit, Compliance, Basis, Functional, and Business teams
- Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and recommendations
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP GRC Access Control (AC)
- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC upgrades (mandatory)
- Expertise in SoD, risk analysis, and compliance frameworks
- Experience working across SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori)
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
