Job Description – AWS Data Architect
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 15 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect modern data platforms using AWS and Snowflake.
• Develop scalable Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, security, and cost.
• Build architecture diagrams, data flows, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams.
• Implement DataOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and data governance best practices.
• Support AI/ML initiatives using AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, and Rekognition.

• Cloud: AWS, Snowflake, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, Lake Formation
• Big Data: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Sqoop
• Data: Data Architecture, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehousing
• DevOps: Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, DataOps
• AI/ML (Preferred): SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Rekognition
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and experience delivering secure, scalable, cloud-native data solutions are essential.
