Job Description

ECS is seeking a Cloud Migration Specialist - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's enterprise IT modernization efforts. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute cloud migration activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise modernization goals.
  • Conduct workload assessments and dependency mapping to facilitate seamless migration processes.
  • Coordinate migration scheduling and cutover activities to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Support rehosting and re-platforming initiatives, ensuring thorough testing and validation.
  • Develop and implement rollback strategies to ensure system stability post-migration.
  • Verify post-migration performance and operational stability, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to analyze system dependencies.
  • Ensure compliance with approved cloud security requirements and RMF controls.
  • Align migration activities with enterprise architecture objectives and operational requirements.


Required Skills

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSEC
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in cloud migration and enterprise infrastructure modernization within DoD or Federal IT environments.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute cloud migration activities, including workload assessment and cutover coordination.
  • Experience in supporting rehosting and re-platforming initiatives and conducting migration testing and validation.
  • Demonstrated capability to ensure migration compliance with enterprise configuration management processes.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve mission objectives.
