This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute within a mission-focused organization, supporting Department of Education applications and stakeholders through a comprehensive suite of data collection and reporting tools.
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in advancing our DevOps initiatives and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions for our customers. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance development practices and automate pipelines that accommodate substantial data volumes. This remote position requires attendance during standard business hours Monday through Friday, with on-site presence strongly preferred.
As a Senior .NET Developer, your responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing scalable DevOps processes to support the development and deployment of enterprise-level applications.
Leading automation, CI/CD, and cloud technology initiatives, including centralizing code repositories within GitHub or Azure DevOps to streamline workflows.
Evaluating and enhancing coding practices by integrating automated scanning tools to uphold rigorous standards of code quality and security.
Proactively managing technical debt and driving continuous improvement throughout development cycles.
Optimizing processes related to code branching, merging, and releasing to ensure seamless and efficient deployments.
Automating build and deployment workflows to minimize manual intervention and maximize operational efficiency.
Enhancing unit and integration test coverage to guarantee reliability and performance of applications.
Demonstrating proficiency in .NET Core, applying structured, pattern-based development practices for complex logic implementations.
