Engineer- Construction - II
Location: Irving, TX
Payrate: $40 - $48/hr on W2
Description:
Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5+ years
Responsibilities:
Manage construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous Network infrastructure projects.
Provide financial management of projects from initial proposal/bid through receipt of final product or service including.
Daily activities include schedule and financial management as well as interfacing with vendors via calls and meetings.
Must have attention to detail, sense of urgency and wireless network (cell site) construction experience as well as technical aptitude with computers to navigate tools.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or three or more years of work experience related to Macro Cellsite Build.
Experience in the wireless telecom industry, preferably Macro New Site Build or Modification Projects
Excellent verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.
Excellent team player Must be well organized and able to work under time pressure.
Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong technical and project management knowledge.
Strong problem solving skills, project planning and time management.
Knowledge and experience with the full suite of Google Workspace, including data analytical features such as PivotTable and VLOOKUP
Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members and other cross-functional teams.
Knowledgeable and very familiar with industry and cellsite construction standards/practices.
Prior experince in reviewing and evaluating Construction Drawings and Post-construction Close-out-Packages
DESIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge or familiarity with Samsung RAN equipment
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Telecom technologies.
Knowledge of RF, Transport and Wireless Construction.
Ability to manage changing priorities, competing priorities, and situations in which guidelines can change.
Knowledge of HUB, CRAN & DRAN architecture.
Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations knowledge of 5G Wireless Networks.
Power, Space and Cooling knowledge.
