JD Edwards CNC Consultant/Administrator

Introduction

The JD Edwards CNC Consultant/Administrator will be responsible for leading end-to-end JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC tasks, including tools and application installations, environment setups, upgrades/releases, and maintaining CNC infrastructure components. They will work closely with developers and functional consultants to ensure successful integration and environment deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC tasks
• Install, configure, and maintain CNC infrastructure components
• Apply patches, ESUs, and fixes
• Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Manage user roles and security configurations
• Administer middleware platforms and BSSV/AIS layers
• Maintain detailed documentation of CNC procedures

Requirements

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• 11+ years hands-on experience as a JD Edwards CNC Consultant/Administrator
• Deep understanding of JDE architecture and CNC concepts
• Experience with tools upgrades, ESU deployments, and binary/database setup
• Skilled in operating system environments: Linux, Windows, AS/400
• Familiar with middleware administration and JD Edwards BSSV/AIS
• Knowledgeable around cloud platforms (OCI/Azure)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• JD Edwards or Oracle certifications (CNC, Tools, EnterpriseOne) are preferred

Preferred Experience

• Full lifecycle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementation and upgrade support
• Experience with environment migrations, refreshing, and data migrations
• Administration of user security, SOD roles, and access control frameworks
• Interaction with integrations: scheduling tools, bolt ons, middleware components
