We are looking for a
Senior SharePoint Test Engineer to join our team and support a large-scale initiative to migrate a complex SharePoint On-Premises portal to SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA activities for the migration from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online
- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for custom solutions, integrations, and complex data migration scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple SharePoint environments
- Drive defect triage, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure timely and accurate issue resolution
- Validate integrations with Power Platform, Nintex Cloud, and other solution components
- Partner with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery
- Prepare and maintain clear test documentation and present results to stakeholders
- Apply risk-based testing strategies to ensure efficient and meaningful test coverage in cloud environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional QA experience, including hands-on functional and automation testing
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization models, permissions, and feature capabilities
- Experience validating integrations with Power Platform, Nintex Cloud, and custom SharePoint components
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (boards, pipelines, test plans)
- Proven background in regression planning, UAT support, and structured defect management
- Solid knowledge of cloud testing principles and risk-based testing approaches
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within distributed Agile/Kanban teams
Nice to have
- Experience with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Quest, or similar)
- Exposure to test automation frameworks relevant to SharePoint or Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with Power Platform development or administration
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL or scripting for data validation
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and governance practices
