Summary
- Required Active Secret clearance.
- Required IAT Level II / IAM Level I
- 4–6 years of IA or cybersecurity support experience in a DoD or federal environment.
- Working knowledge of RMF processes, STIGs, and vulnerability management tools (e.g., ACAS, Tenable).
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIG, and DoD 8510.01 policy requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and track IA control compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities -
Support Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity engineering functions across enterprise systems.

Assist in implementing and maintaining compliance with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DCSA cybersecurity policies.

Conduct vulnerability scans, patch verification, and system audits under the supervision of the Senior IA Engineer.

Perform STIG/SRG reviews, document findings, and verify remediation in accordance with DoD security requirements.

Support continuous monitoring (ConMon) activities by updating POA&Ms and verifying control implementation.

Assist in preparing and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs), security test procedures, and authorization documentation.

Review and validate security configurations for servers, endpoints, and network devices.

Participate in incident detection, response, and reporting, escalating critical issues as required.

Provide technical support for IA compliance reviews, audits, and inspections.

Collaborate with System Administrators, Network Engineers, and IA Specialists to resolve vulnerabilities.

Maintain accurate IA documentation in accordance with DISA, NIST, and DoD guidance.

Assist in user awareness training and IA briefings to reinforce compliance standards.

Support testing and deployment of security tools and technologies within the enterprise environment.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
