Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to learn the various areas of Mechanical Engineering within the Dematic Organization, and in support of customer projects.
We offer:What You Will Do in This Role:- Support Modernization and Upgrades on existing material handling systems.
- Perform site audits to collect required data.
- Support the installation of mechanical upgrades.
- Provide detailed layouts and documentation for all modernization scopes.
- Create Purchase Requests and Parts Order Entry
- Drive activities related to ensuring new equipment is built to specification.
- Provide technical support for Estimating, Sales, Engineering teams, and Field Operations
What We are Looking For:- Candidates must be pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems
- Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD
- Familiarization with Computer Systems and Technologies.
- Ability to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutions.
- Proven communications skills, flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team of solution-oriented professionals.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $29.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
