Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team in the Baltimore office
+ Oversee day to day operations including workload planning and staff coordination
+ Mentor and support junior and mid level engineers
+ Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
+ Serve as Engineer of Record on select projects
+ Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and code compliance
+ Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
+ Support proposals, scope development, and fee input
+ Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall performance
+ Promote quality control and consistency across projects

Qualifications -

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 6 months
+ 16 or more years of mechanical design and project management experience
+ Strong background in HVAC system design (plumbing and fire protection experience a plus)
+ Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling tools
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills
+ U.S. Citizenship required
