Schedule: On-site, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Range: $46.42 per hour

Job Description:

Position Summary
  • We are seeking a Data Engineer to support advanced analytics initiatives by leveraging deep knowledge of enterprise datasets to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights through data modeling, visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that improve decision-making and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify data quality gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions.
  • Apply statistical methods and business analytics techniques to measure performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Utilize machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics models to solve business problems and uncover actionable insights.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to support data and analytics projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance standards and improve overall data integrity.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data-related issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts through automation, process optimization, and advanced analytics methodologies.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets, data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, business metrics, and data interpretation.
  • Experience developing and implementing machine learning models and analytical solutions.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Java, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data technologies and modern data architectures.
  • Experience with data quality management, data governance, and master data practices.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, AI, and advanced statistical modeling techniques.
