Job Title: HR & Compliance Manager

Job Summary:
Kirloskar Americas is seeking an experienced and proactive HR & Compliance Manager to lead Human Resources operations and ensure full regulatory compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and workplace safety initiatives while supporting business growth and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Management
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and administrative positions
• Partner with leadership to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline aligned with company goals
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR policies and employee relations matters
• Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and employee engagement initiatives
• Lead performance management and annual appraisal processes aligned with organizational objectives
• Promote company culture, employee development, and leadership initiatives.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with federal and Texas labor laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and related regulations
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time
• Conduct internal audits of HR records, payroll files, and I-9 documentation to maintain audit readiness
• Update and maintain HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance procedures.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
• Coordinate payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees with external payroll providers
• Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance, 401(k), and leave administration
• Act as the primary point of contact for benefit vendors and employee benefit-related inquiries.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations
• Partner with operations teams to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA or Master’s Degree in HR preferred
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Compliance or Managerial role
• Experience working in Manufacturing, Distribution, or related industries preferred
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, payroll, and employee relations
• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR is highly preferred.
