C# .NET Developer (W2 only - Financial Industry experience)

One of our Financial clients in New York City, is looking for a C# .NET Developer.

Duration: 1 year (Contract-to-Hire)

Hourly: $55 - $60 (W2 only)

Must-to-Have Skills:

1. 5-7 years of experience working in a financial institution or similar
2. Strong .NET Core and .NET Framework experience including C#
3. Hands-on experience with Angular, Kendo UI and Typescript
4. Extensive experience with Relational Databases like SQL Server
5. Database design and development using SQL
6. Financial Institution experience

Scope:

You will primarily work with .NET (Framework & .NET Core in C#) and Angular. Experience with React, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure, InfoPath (legacy), Power Automate, REST APIs, Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and support enterprise web applications.
• Propose innovative solutions while complying with IT policies and Natixis standards.
• Promote modern technologies, best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with on‑shore and near‑shore teams, IT stakeholders and business users.
• Work in a cross‑functional agile environment and contribute to the innovation roadmap.

Skills:

.NET & web development

• Strong experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework with C#.
• ASP.NET, including MVC and REST services using Web API / ASP.NET Core.
• Development of automated unit tests and integration tests.
• Strong knowledge of modern client‑side frameworks, ideally Angular, Kendo UI and TypeScript.
• React experience is a plus.

Data & integration

• Database design and SQL development; very good understanding of relational databases.
• Entity Framework is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX for reporting and automation is a plus.

DevOps & methodologies

• Good command of DevOps practices, Agile methods and CI/CD.
• Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure (Apps).

Soft skills

• Proactive, solution‑oriented, able to move forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
• Autonomous, with strong problem‑solving skills.
