Senior Java Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior Java Developer to join their team.

Summary:
The main workstream this person will be focused on is their management system as well as within the booking team. The team is the main focus, and they essentially house all the data behind every transaction, kick starting where the order happens and sits. This team is moving toward a very heavy ML/Data presence as this connects directly to their sales. They are still discovering what type of model to build, but they will be using heavy Python, VertexAI, SQL, Big Query and Google Cloud Platform. The rest of the team is heavily focused on Java 21+ and Spring Boot as its majority backend.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of ML/Data Engineering experience
* Adept in databases, SQL, Big Query and Google Cloud Platform
* Strong in Prompt Engineering
* Strong problem solver with a proactive approach
* Desire to build out ML models for predictive analytics, forecasting, agentic AI, etc.
* Ability to understand Data, support ML Models, and build out reporting
* Ability to communicate/collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced agile environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
