The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing innovative instructional programs and materials that align with organizational goals and learner needs for the our client. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, creativity, and strong communication skills to create engaging and effective learning experiences. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of training content.
Local to Atlanta, GA candidates and onsite work schedule are preferred; Tuesdays and Wednesdays. However, out of state candidates are permitted. (100% remote)
Qualifications:
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
•Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
•Experience with instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s Level of assessments, adult learning principles)
•Experience with SCORM-compliant course development and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
•Strong understanding of 508-compliance requirements and best practices for creating accessible learning materials.
Desired Skills:
•Bachelor''s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
•Proficiency in using Workday for creating, managing, and delivering training programs.
•Experience in leveraging Workday''s Learning Management System (LMS) capabilities to track learner progress, generate reports, and ensure compliance with training requirements. Ability to integrate Workday with other eLearning authoring tools and platforms to enhance the overall learning experience.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
•Successful implementation of large-scale ERP transition to Workday solution.
•Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
•Knowledge of gamification techniques and how to apply them to enhance learner engagement and motivation.
•Experience in creating multimedia content, including graphics, animations, and interactive elements using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
