RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Telecom Foreman / Lead Engineer (Cisco).
Summary:
We're looking for a hands-on Telecom Foreman to lead field crews through installation, configuration, and turn-up of Cisco network and voice infrastructure. You'll run the day-to-day on site: assigning work, keeping jobs on schedule, enforcing safety and quality standards, and serving as the main technical point of contact for the customer.
What you'll do:
* Lead a crew of technicians on telecom installs, upgrades, and cutovers
* Install, terminate, and test copper, fiber, and coax; rack and stack network gear
* Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and voice/UC equipment
* Read and work from prints, RFDS, and site drawings; redline as-builts
* Coordinate material, tools, and daily schedules with the project manager
* Document work, close out tickets, and confirm sites meet spec before turnover
Enforce safety protocols and jobsite compliance
REQUIREMENTS:
* CCNA or equivalent Cisco certification preferred
* 5+ years in telecom field work, with 2+ years leading crews
* Hands-on experience with Cisco switching, routing, and voice platforms
* Strong fiber and copper termination and testing skills (OTDR, fusion splicing, certification testing)
* Ability to read prints and troubleshoot in the field with limited direction
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Comfortable with lifts, ladders, and travel to job sites as needed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
