Introduction
Our client is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer / SDET with expertise in Playwright, API Testing, JAVA, and K6. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
- Conduct API testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of backend services
- Utilize JAVA programming language to enhance test automation frameworks
- Implement performance testing using tools such as K6 to assess system efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance processes into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform SOAP testing to validate data exchange between different systems
- Identify and report software defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
Requirements
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineer
- Strong proficiency in Playwright for automated browser testing
- Expertise in API Testing to validate web services and integrations
- Proficient in JAVA programming language for test automation
- Experience with performance testing tools such as K6
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools for automated deployment
- Familiarity with SOAP testing for web service validation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other testing frameworks and tools
- Certifications in quality assurance or software testing
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
