Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the CSMP functionality within SAP GTS for the Pharma segment, ensuring IT Controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness
  • Drive strategic alignment, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee solution ownership for incidents, defects, enhancements, and new builds within OTC/CSMP.
  • Proactively identify optimization areas and manage both run operations and strategic projects.
  • Lead solution discovery, design, and build guidance for SAP GTS, prioritizing a "Clean Core" approach.
  • Translate complex business requirements into configuration, minimizing customizations.
  • Support integration of Pharma ordering channels with SAP S/4HANA and associated applications
  • Define and monitor KPIs/BPM metrics for GTS.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent, providing leadership, coaching, and cross-training to OTC team members with GTS skills
  • Manage resource capacity and project demand
  • Maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, collaborating with other process tower leaders (OTC, PTP, SCE, RTR, R&I, non-SAP systems) and infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive solutions and stable operations

Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years in SAP GTS/OTC Build/Run, including full-cycle SAP GTS implementations.
  • Prior experience in SAP ECC/S/4HANA SD module and managing onsite/offshore teams.
  • Expertise in SAP GTS Legal Control, including threshold management, breach handling, and audit compliance for controlled substances.
  • Proficiency in license determination, validation, and consumption across regulatory bodies (CSOM, State/DEA).
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS master data (Business Partners, Products, classification, regulatory relevance).
  • Ability to configure standard GTS processes, integrating with complex OTC scenarios (multi-line orders, partial shipments, backorders).
  • Strong understanding of CSOM Open vs. shipped quantity logic, rejections, and
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 for GTS (standard and custom apps for license/threshold management).
  • Understanding of master data flows (customer, supplier, material) from S/4HANA to GTS.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP (BAS, OData services, Cloud Connectors) in RISE or cloud-based SAP environments.
  • SAP S/4HANA Order Management, Warehouse Management, or other Order Management systems integration.
  • REST based integrations, including GTS triggered API calls, threshold breach notifications, and decision responses.
  • Familiarity with event driven architecture (EDA) patterns, including publishing master and business events to Kafka.
  • Understanding of downstream data consumption for analytics (e.g., Kafka => Snowflake, Kafka => RARE/EDnA) with focus on data consistency and auditability.
  • Hands on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 for GTS, including standard apps and custom Fiori solutions for license and threshold management.
  • Strong understanding of master data (customer, supplier, material flows from S/4 to GTS).
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis across GTS configuration, S/4 integration, and external systems in regulated environments.
  • Complex pricing procedures in SAP ECC.
