Project Specialist

A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is seeking an Project Specialist to support the day-to-day incoming media queries, media mailbox management and media monitoring. Sitting in the Corporate Communications team, the ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment, be connected and extremely familiar with the editorial news environment and up to date in world and current affairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative and writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to distill complex topics into clear summaries.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day Corporate Communications inbox and triage incoming queries to PR leaders.
Evaluate user interfaces and digital tools from a design perspective, providing feedback to engineering teams to improve usability and intuitiveness.
Write concise, objective summaries of new summaries, and compile longer reports when needed.
Key Qualifications:
Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and to deadline.
Demonstrable background in writing/ or adjacent professions (journalism, PR, media, analyst)
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Interest and passion for technology, business, and lifestyle news
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new software platforms, content management systems (CMS), or proprietary internal tools, is welcomed.
Familiarity with basic coding concepts (HTML, Python, or SQL) or advanced search syntax (Boolean logic) is a strong plus.
Higher education preferred.

Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension

Pay range: $28.00 ph
