Job Title Lead Quality / Software Development (SDET) Engineer

Technical/Functional Skills
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, SDET, or Test Automation roles.
• Senior / Lead resources should preferably have 8+ years of experience with ownership of QA deliverables, automation strategy, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience in Digital, Retail, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or customer-facing enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
• Highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing across both web and native mobile (iOS/Android) applications, complemented by hands-on experience in web test automation. 
The ideal candidate will have a quality-first mindset, ensuring consistent customer experiences across multiple digital channels while driving end-to-end testing, automation, and continuous quality improvements.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium or Maestro is highly desirable, though not mandatory. 
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, automate critical workflows, validate releases, and continuously improve software quality across web and mobile platforms.

Experience Required Minimum 5years

 

Generic Managerial Skills
• Ability to lead distributed QA / SDET teams across onsite and offshore models.
• Strong communication skills with business, technology, product, and leadership stakeholders.
• Capability to define QA approach, automation roadmap, governance, metrics, and delivery cadence.
• Ability to mentor Quality Engineers and review test cases, automation scripts, and defect quality.
• Strong ownership mindset with risk identification, dependency management, and proactive escalation.
• Experience in fast-paced Agile delivery with accountability for release readiness and quality outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Maestro for native iOS and Android applications.
• Experience with mobile application testing across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
• Experience implementing automation in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation frameworks.
• Experience with responsive web testing, accessibility testing, and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining API automation frameworks
