We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer 4 to support short-term and long-term capital projects focused on manufacturing capacity increases. This role will work closely with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams within an Assembly and Machine Shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate short-term and long-term capital projects for capacity increases
Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams
Support heavy machine installation and foundation work
Design and/or redesign service systems including:
Heat treat equipment
Material handling systems
Filtration systems
Paint systems
Utilities (water, gas, steam, air, HVAC, ventilation)
Coordinate with skilled trades personnel
Manage project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera
Required Technical Skills:
Proficient in Creo 3D CAD modeling and drawing application (or equivalent such as Inventor/SolidWorks)
Strong understanding of machine tools with hands-on experience
Experience in heavy machine installation and foundations
Working knowledge of MS Project and Primavera
Strong understanding of shop operations and maintenance procedures
Project management experience
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
8–10 years of relevant experience
