Job Summary (List Format):
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based microservices using Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Build scalable backend services with Java and Python within a microservices architecture.
- Implement messaging and streaming integrations using Kafka and Google Cloud Platform Pub/Sub, ensuring reliable delivery semantics and back-pressure handling.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) while following robust CI/CD practices.
- Model and optimize data access using Cloud Spanner, including schema design, transaction strategies, and performance tuning.
- Ensure end-to-end quality by driving unit, integration, contract, and performance testing, maintaining high code coverage, and enforcing automated quality gates.
- Collaborate with architecture, data modeling, security, and product teams; present features, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly.
- Document low-level designs (LLD), sequence diagrams, and contribute to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and reusable libraries.
- Support production systems with an SRE/DevOps mindset, including monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis (RCA).
