Key Responsibilities
· Execute daily production plans by scheduling work, assigning personnel, and monitoring workflow
· Communicate job expectations and monitor performance through coaching, counseling, and training
· Supervise and support manufacturing staff to meet production, quality, and safety goals
· Spend approximately 50% of time performing direct labor alongside the team
· Monitor production processes, equipment, and staffing levels to maintain efficiency
· Identify and address safety, health, and environmental hazards
· Act as quality inspector for assigned areas and enforce quality standards
· Ensure materials and supplies are available to support production
· Compile and analyze production performance data and shift reports
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
· Support hiring, onboarding, and development of production team members
Education & Experience Requirements
· High School diploma or GED required
· 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
· 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Commitment to quality and safety standards
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Basic computer skills with Microsoft products
· Valid driver’s license required
· Ability to work a 2nd shift role (or flexibility for off-shifts)
