Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop low-level design (LLD) documents, technical specifications, and scalable solutions based on business and system requirements.
Develop high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.
Participate in code reviews, peer reviews, and unit testing to ensure code quality.
Work closely with QA teams, project stakeholders, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
Mentor junior developers and support the development team with technical guidance and standards.
Contribute to system enhancements that improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Required Skills

Primary Skills

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) – 5–7+ years
SQL and XML development
OIPA Rules Palette, Plan/Product Configuration, Activity & Transaction Configuration
Policy lifecycle modeling for annuity products
API integrations and Java development

Technical Skills

SQL development (Views, Stored Procedures, Functions)
Development tools: Visual Studio, Git, SQL Server Management Studio
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Ansible
Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform (2–3 years)

Domain Knowledge

Annuity products including Fixed, Indexed, Variable, and Registered Annuities
Knowledge of Riders, Premium Allocation, Fees, Charges, Interest Calculations, and Payout Options

Preferred Skills

AWS services / Full-stack development
Docker, EKS, ECS
UNIX / Linux shell scripting
Exposure to AI / MLOps
