RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Executive Support Desktop Specialist in Houston, TX.
Summary:
The Executive Support Desktop Specialist is a senior-level IT professional providing high-touch technical support for executives and senior leaders. This role delivers advanced support for end-user devices, enterprise applications, meeting technologies, and corporate IT infrastructure, requiring strong technical expertise, discretion, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide confidential, white-glove support for C-suite and senior leadership
* Ensure executive devices, meeting rooms, and collaboration tools are fully operational
* Deliver rapid response support and serve as an escalation point for complex issues
* Perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
* Support corporate IT infrastructure, networks, cloud systems, and office technology
* Provide Tier 3 support for macOS and Windows environments
* Manage tickets, prioritize requests, and coordinate issue resolution
* Support onboarding, end-user training, and after-hours or on-call needs
* Enforce security, compliance, and device management standards
* Partner with vendors and internal teams to improve tools and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred
* 10+ years of IT Support experience, including extensive support of C suite or senior executives
* Experience with networking technologies (DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, wireless)
* Strong expertise in troubleshooting both MacOS and Windows operating systems
* Familiarity with asset management, device provisioning, and collaboration tools
* Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in high-visibility environments
* Demonstrated ability to maintain strong security and compliance practices
* Willingness to work after-hours and provide emergency on-call support
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with tools such as Slack, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, IntelliU, Optimizely, and SmartSheet
* Advanced troubleshooting skills in: Windows & MacOS; Microsoft Office applications
* Highly self-motivated, reliable, organized, and capable of supporting diverse stakeholders including executive leadership
* Ability to follow complex procedures, perform independent diagnostics, and collaborate on multi-layered issues
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
