Summary

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master

Duration: 3 Months

Job Summary:

We require Senior Scrum Master who will be responsible for facilitating Agile delivery, enabling high-performing cross-functional teams, and ensuring consistent application of Scrum principles and practices. This role supports delivery of enterprise data, analytics, and modernization initiatives by fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.The Scrum Master serves as a servant leader and coach to the product owner, development team, and stakeholders, removing impediments, promoting Agile best practices, and ensuring alignment with program and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Understands business objectives and problems and identifies alternative solutions
Performs studies and cost benefit analysis of alternative solutions
Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and system problems to improve or automate existing systems
Collaborates with organizational units to understand current operational processes and identify issues
Identifies input and output requirements including data formats, reporting needs, and data summarization methods
Documents detailed user requirements, program functions, and development or modification steps
Reviews system capabilities, technical specifications, and scheduling constraints to assess feasibility of requested changes
Ensures proposed solutions align with existing system limitations and business needs

Required Skills:

8 years of experience required in serving as a Scrum Master for Agile teams delivering technology or data platforms
8 years of experience required in facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
8 years of experience required in identifying, tracking, and removing impediments impacting team delivery
8 years of experience required in coaching teams on self organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
8 years of experience required in using Agile lifecycle management tools such as Jira
8 years of experience required in supporting reporting on velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery progress
8 years of experience required in working on enterprise or large scale IT initiatives

Preferred Skills:

4 years of experience preferred in working on state or government technology projects
4 years of experience preferred in Scrum Master certification such as CSM PSM or equivalent
