Tableau Architect – Salesforce, Slack & AI Integration

 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tableau Architect with strong expertise in Tableau architecture, enterprise BI solutions, embedded analytics, API integrations, and AI-powered analytics.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing scalable Tableau solutions and integrating Tableau capabilities across Salesforce, Slack, and Claude AI (Anthropic).

This role requires a strong technical architect who can define end-to-end analytics architecture, lead complex integrations, establish best practices, and deliver secure, scalable, AI-enabled business intelligence solutions.

 

· Architect, design, and implement scalable enterprise Tableau solutions using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Cloud/Server, and Tableau Prep.

· Define end-to-end Tableau architecture, including data models, integration frameworks, security, governance, and performance optimization.

· Design and implement Tableau integration with Salesforce, including embedded dashboards, Lightning Experience, LWC, and Salesforce APIs.

· Architect Tableau and Slack integrations to enable dashboard sharing, automated notifications, workflow automation, and interactive analytics.

· Design integration solutions connecting Tableau with Claude AI to support natural-language querying, conversational BI, and AI-powered insights.

· Leverage Tableau REST API, Embedding API, and Metadata API to build reusable enterprise integration solutions.

· Develop and oversee custom integrations using Python, JavaScript, REST APIs, and middleware.

· Design secure authentication and authorization frameworks using OAuth 2.0, Salesforce Connected Apps, and role-based access controls.

· Establish Tableau development standards, architecture best practices, performance optimization strategies, and data governance policies.

· Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architecture.

 

· Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, and guide development teams through implementation.

· Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Cloud/Server, and Tableau Prep.

· Experience architecting enterprise Tableau platforms and scalable BI solutions.

· Advanced knowledge of dashboards, calculated fields, LOD expressions, parameters, data modeling, and performance tuning.

· Strong experience with Tableau REST API, Embedding API, and Metadata API.

· Experience designing Tableau security, governance, deployment, and access-control frameworks.

 

· Hands-on experience embedding Tableau dashboards and analytics into Salesforce applications.

· Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.

· Experience designing integrations using OAuth 2.0, Connected Apps, and authentication frameworks.

· Ability to architect seamless analytics experiences across Salesforce and Tableau.

 

· Experience integrating Tableau analytics and dashboards with Slack.

· Knowledge of Slack APIs, Slack Apps, Webhooks, and Workflow Automation.

· Ability to design solutions for automated insights, dashboard notifications, and interactive analytics within Slack.

 

· Experience with Anthropic Claude API or comparable enterprise LLM integrations.

· Understanding of AI-powered analytics, natural-language querying, and conversational BI.

· Ability to design secure integrations between Tableau data, metadata, and AI applications using APIs, middleware, or custom services.

· Familiarity with prompt engineering, context management, and enterprise AI integration patterns.

· Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.

· Hands-on experience with Python and/or JavaScript.

· Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and enterprise integration architectures.

· Experience designing scalable, secure, API-driven solutions across enterprise applications.

· 8+ years of experience in Tableau, Business Intelligence, Analytics Development, or related architecture roles preferred.

· Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Tableau architectures.

· Strong hands-on background in Tableau development and API-based integrations.

· Experience integrating Tableau with Salesforce, Slack, and AI/LLM platforms.

· Excellent technical leadership, solution design, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

· Ability to independently own architecture decisions and guide cross-functional development teams.

The candidate must be capable of both designing the architecture and guiding its technical implementation, rather than focusing exclusively on dashboard development.
