A leading financial institution in Vienna, VA is seeking a Documentation Specialist to drive content and documentation projects across the enterprise. This role will collaborate with various teams to develop impactful content.
About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Researching business processes and developing technical and non-technical intranet documentation
- Administering and developing web-based content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades and software implementations
- Interviewing business owners to gather requirements and define documentation needs
- Creating and maintaining online manuals, job aids, eLearning storyboards, and reference materials
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Documentation, Technical Writing, and/or Cntent Development roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Technical Writing, or equivalent professional experience
- Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Strong experience with Web Content Development (HTML/CMS environments)
- Graphic Design and Visual Storytelling skills
- Advanced ability to research, analyze, and document complex processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Content Strategy or UX Writing principles
- Light motion or Interactive Design experience
- Analytics-driven mindset for Content Optimization
- Familiarity with Project Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Experience in a senior-level role with stakeholder-facing responsibilities
